A sit down would be the way to go,,,,,,kind of like what i did.
It was a stand up before.
Agree on that! Personally I would definately get a pair of nice racing sit down seats, a foot throttle and be good to go! The 24's are perfect for sit down, it looks kind of funny standing up when your 6ft4"!

LOL,, i remember that,, u told me there !!!!!! DAMN was that a crazy down poor ?!:ack2:

But back on track,,,,,,he defenatley needs a 3 seater SIT DOWN bolster.
So i was thinking that u rick are gonna take some nice pics of your seat and some messurements and PM them to him !!!!!!!

RIGHT ??

Alright, Alright...
Like I said, I've just been toying with the idea, and this was a mock-up, just to see what I'd have.
I'm not entirely thrilled with it, and I know the wife is gonna ***** if I actually go through with this ( aside from the fact that she would have access to the throttle).
Just had an idea that I could quickly convert from a 3-man, to a dual sit-down pleasure. I think my idea would work. But, after playing with it, I doubt I'd be entirely happy in this boat. Too much stuff to move, and with most "convertible vehicles" they are OK at both applications, but not great at either.
I guess what it comes down to is...
I was working on repairing the engine hatch, and while resin is curing, I need something to play around with, or else I'll just sit back and drink beer.
It kept me busy in-between glass layers on the hatch.
I agree, the gunwales are low on this boat, and I'm 5'11, the wife is 5'10", stand-up would make us stick out like the infamous "boner in sweatpants":willy_nilly:
I've just always liked a stand-up, and just thinking I'm going old-school with the boat... But, some new school also.
I'm just working on a happy medium between the two, and not lose the classic look, but also have functionality.

A 3seater sit or stand up 24/7 will most likely cause some bad headaches...

Buoy...your in AZ.. go to a good offroad shop and sit in a set of mastercrafts or beard superseats...........
