Help out Special Olympics.

I just visited the tally board-

https://www.kintera.org/faf/search/...132AD019BF16BE969C6&supId=0&team=3232422&cj=Y

When I visited this afternoon, it was just past $10K. In the last 4 hours we've moved the needle by over $2,000!! And that doesn't count the donations via check, one of which is $1,000- and who knows how many more.

This is something for all of us to be very proud of.

You're right Chris! As a result of this thread and the generous people from SeriousOffshore.com we will be over the $13,000 mark for our group. You guys have REALLY "moved the needle"! Thank you everyone who has donated to this great cause. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures and post them here.

Ted's got that thousand-dollar check on the way to him. I think that puts him right at a tie for #1.

Can't have a tie, money sent. :)

Where's the pics? It will be spring before he can take the sock out of his shorts and pee while standing again.....:sifone:

By the way, the sock goes in front.........:03::03:

Alrighty then! It was a great day and we did a wonderful thing for Special Olympics. With the help of all my Serious Offshore family, the Chesapeake Bay Powerboat Association raised a total of $13,101 dollars as of today (more to come). The weather was right cold and the water was about 34 degrees but almost 10,000 people jumped in for the 2009 Polar Bear Plunge. I want to thank everyone that donated and raised my personal total to $1,400 (also as of today). And now, without further ado, I will post the pictures that everyone wants to see. Thanks again everyone, it is all for a great cause.:26:
