Just looked it up...and you are right..1201lbs....thats a huge differance when you can get a 725/Indy package for the same weight as a 525 by itself...

Just think on the weight differance on a twin 525/#6 package
to a twin 725/Indy package....and even price differance of the 650/Indy package to the 525 package..

Now take the fuel economy of the Ilmor to another 725 hp engine...plus the lighter weight of the boat...

I thought the Merc guys told me a few years back that the 525 was just over 1000lbs....if it is 1200lbs that is huge...because the 650/Indy drive is only 1208lbs combined..
