Graduation Gift Ideas???

When my little cousin graduated HS a few years ago I bought him a 1500 sex position book and included a note saying "this is most important book you will need to get through college". Now he is going to school somehwere in Cali and banging some porn mogul's daughter. Everytime we talk, he thanks me again for the book.

My uncles gave me nothing.

I stumbled upon like 20 max. :(

Or something. :o

Hookers and booze?? heheheheehehehehehehe

To anyone in the realm of the performance boating world.. Upon graduation, I will trade the hookers and booze for a ride in something that breaks 100... I have been in quite a few boats that can roll mid 80's but I have yet to ride in anything past the century mark... one of those things to accomplish in life :cheers2:

My first trip over the "aqautic ton" was in a 28 Skater. Those little creeps can roll! And you won't feel bad burning up all the guys gas! :cheers2:

Ok, just don't use break 100 and "roll" in the same sentence. :)

You're probably correct.

Agreed. And unfortunately medical school is becoming a loser for some also.

Actually... for anybody who would consider law because of these skills: (strong verbal/written/research/presentation/public speaking) executive-level fund raising is a good gig. A strong candidate with a bachelors and a CFRE and/ or a MA in philanthropy can make 100k a year by year 5 in many markets. Even in economically disadvantaged areas.

You're probably correct.

If he can afford to pay cash for law school and just doesn't feel like working for 3 years (other than studying) more power to him. But if he has to go into debt for a law degree and expects to pay it off with a lucrative high paying job, think again.

What law school is he going to? I went to Duquesne, down the street from Pitt. I guess I should say I paid for and graduated from Duquesne... I worked at a bar and lived at Pitt. (Yes, you can hear everyone from college chanting "Three more years!") But I'll tell you, my experience was atypical and my accounting degree and a strong economy in the mid-late 90's got me the job I have now. The law degree was of relatively little value. But on the up side, I'm still paying for it! :icon_bs:
