Got a little snow last night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes!!!! A little snow??? The last time I saw that type of accumulation I was well.....hmmm, I dont remember. jk...

Those days made it fun to jump off the 2nd floor deck into the powder. I'd walk out the back door with my skiis and jump on the slopes 200ft away. I don't miss it though.

Where is your sense of adventure? :sifone:

saw this on texts from last night and it made me think of this thread... :ack2:

(970): I just egged your windshield and it froze on contact. Have fun with that.

Snow? What's that? :p

That´s the stuff that cheers you up...and it doesn´t matter if it´s snow up north on in Miami...

We don´t still have snow to speak of..and It´s so dark and get into you....
I hate this Give me heat or give me Snow to light up things.

Can't wait for snow here! Just got my new (to me) snow mobile. A polaris something Ultra 680 maybe? Now I've got to learn a new set of stuff! I don't know much about sleds except where the throttle is ;)

And trees do jump out in front of you (from experience). Be careful and be safe.

Yeah. I know I've got to learn the area around here. We have a group of friends who have sleds and the one guy lives, eats breathes and bleeds snow mobiles. Boats is his second favorite hobby. He's helping Tony put together an Artic Cat project that he bought.

It'll be fun though. i've heard a lot of horror stories in the last few days about people not seeing wire fences, etc. I know to be careful

Haha.. I was an exchange student in the area (New Richmond) 83/84 and yes your climate is close to ours despite me being up here with Anchorage Alaska, a little bit darker wintertime and brighter summertime overhere.
I miss that area honestly.

Yesterday I bytheway talked with the host familys son online and I asked him if he´s not interested in powerboating, he told it´s too dangerous as he´s been in a 80mph bassboat ( Yikes!)
Told him powerboats are still a lot safer and he told me that his mom knows Phil Lipschutz very well as Phils mother and her mother have been friends since day one or so. Small world and I´m planning on visiting them next summer/fall ( Hot august nights..).
If Phil is reading Hi from Ringhands...

A Buddy of mine has a snow mobile souped up to 155mph tops ( Got nitrous blower whatever...crazy)... he hit a hole at full speed with it...not much left of him after that..survived and built a new one.
We use the ice here but cracks in the ice makes rides close to triple digits unsafe...
Some guys even race them as professionals up north !?

A snowmobile is like running a jet ski or four wheeler. They're not hard, but it's easy to get badly hurt if you're not careful. My uncle who lived next door to me had three snowmobiles, but back then top speed was around 25 mph with a Ski Do 250 CC. Then he got a Skido 370, and we thought that was the cat's meow.
