Lance sold the boat to Jim Simmons and he will be racing it this year.

Pete, you need to keep up, there was a time where I went to you to find out the latest news in offshore.

I Know, well that is both good and bad news. while Simmons racing is top notch will certainly setting the bar. Lance and Shelly are great people to hang out with! i hope they buy another boat.

It looks like the SVL class may be racing under the P1 single class. If that happens then you don't need seals. HP/Weight is all you need to know.
If we race in both P1 and OSS we could race 2 times in one weekend. There will be a purse in both classes. Heck you may be able to make a little scratch for the weekend. Pick one or the other or both. Not sure how the purse will be paid out but I like hedging my bet and sharing the purse equally. The winners get bigger trophies.
For the record I most likely will race under both P1 and OSS and take advantage of being able to race 2 times in one weekend. If you pay for your room and travel why not get the most of your weekend. RACE TILL IT HURTS!!!!
