Get Out and VOTE !!!!

I voted early 2 weeks ago and was pissed that I had to wait an hour and half. Looking at the line this morning it looks like it was time well spent.

I got there as they opened the doors at six thirty after walking a quarter mile becase there was no place to park. Waited in line for an hour, on the way out I estimated the line at roughly 3 hrs.

It took me a little over 1/2 hour....I never have to wait for anyone when there is no presidential election happening. People should be forced to vote all the time and not be allowed just for a presidential election. I vote all the time whenever there are items to vote for. Just not right that you don't vote and it's time to elect a new president and the entire world shows up. :boxing_smiley:

walked right in, we had friends over for the game last night and the one spent two and a half ours waiting to early vote, HA HA

I voted about 9am. There were only like 10 people in front of me... I figured that I would be in and out but ended up waiting at least a half hour because none of the 10 had ID, or was registered, or in the right polling place.

A lady came in behind me and when they asked if she was registered, she said that she didn't know... when they asked for ID, she said that she didn't have one. When they said that she could vote provisional, then take proof of ID downtown within 10 days.... she said "Screw this" and walked out.
Odd that she has no ID or idea. I was glad that she didn't vote. I was afraid that she would vote for some of the 15 levys on the ballot.

How does someone/anyone walk around with no ID? It should be illegal.

In my best Nazi voice... "Your papers please?" :p

Just got back, in and out in less than five minutes. They moved my voting location to a church and there wasn't a Obama sign to be seen, loved it (and I'm Jewish). Go Mac!

Also voted no to slots, the most blatant act of partisan politics I've ever seen in our state.

voted this morning, took about 1 1/2 hours to get it done. vote yes to legalize medical marijuana, so wrinklenuts and i will be writting a lot of scripts for chronic gingivitis.

Left work and ran down there around 2:30. 15 minutes and I was on my way.

And wouldn't you just know it...
As I'm walking past the line outside the door, there's my neighbor...
Yeah, the same neighbor...
Great...

Pretty sure it is illegal.
I had a Cop stop me on a my bicycle once because I fit the description of a shoplifter at a carryout and I didn't have an ID. He's giving me a really hard time.
I remember looking at him and saying "But, I'm 12"...
Told me that was no excuse.
I wasn't guilty, hadn't even been in the store, so didn't have much to worry about.

Voted around 11:00am and no lines in/out in 10min ... well spent another 15-20mins talking to people I knew so half hr all in all ... Civic duty and responsibility completed! Great country we live in to be able freely walk up and cast a vote  Thanks to all who have and who are fighting for our freedoms! :cheers2:

Took me almost an hour at 4:30 in Kentucky, you could feel the patriotism in the crowd as I waited, I was honored to receive my "I voted" sticker.

GO MAC!!! AND SARAH!!!
