Misdialed number leads to angry texts, shooting

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Georgia police said a misdialed number led two strangers to trade hostile calls and text messages before arranging a meeting where one shot the other. Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman Veda Lamar Nichols told the Savannah Morning News in a Wednesday story that man, 22, faces an aggravated assault charge. The 22-year-old suspect was jailed after a 24-year-old man was shot in a CVS parking lot around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Nichols said the victim was taken to Memorial University Medical Center in serious condition. She said the two didn't know each other but began arguing through phone calls and text messages after a misdialed number and arranged to meet in the store's parking lot.

The suspect was taken to the Chatham County jail. Nichols said his vehicle was damaged during the incident.

Can you imagine arguing with a complete stranger over a mis-dialed phone call then arranging to meet to straighten it out? I would have had way more fun tormenting the guy into meeting me all over town without showing up! The torture could even continue with phony ads on craigslist like call for "free flatscreen tv" or "XBox with games $20" and let the phony phone calls begins. Maybe an autotrader ad for a 2008 Shelby GT 500 for 10K, must sell being shipped over seas. After about 500 calls he would want to forget the thing about calling me with a mis-dialed call.

I watch enough COPS on tv to know the dumbest people in the world are in Palm Beach County , Florida.:sifone:

We were woking on a big project in St Pete, when somebody came in after hours, pizzed in the super's hard hat, then took a dump on his desk. The worse thing was, he was one of the nicest supers I ever worked for. I usually feel like choking most dumbass supers down. If they knew a damn thing, they'd be doing it.
