Gasparilla Invasion February 7th

Bringing the boat around the night before. Doing the invasion with family in tow. Will drop them off mid afternoon and take my time returning to Boca Ciega Bay. Anyone coming out, meeting up anywhere by water?

Keys was beautiful the last couple days for sure. I am considering making the run over from St Pete Sat am. Anyone else running over? What is a good time to be on that side of the bay. I will be in New Smyrna Friday night and need to figure out when is best to come back Sat am to be in water and run across.

Parade leaves Tampa Yacht Club around 1:00pm. Should take awhile for flotilla to reach harbor. I'm bringing the boat around the night before and leaving it at Harbor Island.

I was in NSB yesterday. It's 25 mile straight shot to where you met us on the river a few years back.

Very weak turnout. Lots of boats crammed in the mini-channel between Tampa General and Bayshore. but the main harbor was wide open. and teh vops were in full force, Gestapo oversite. You couldn't belch without them breathing on you.

I want to come run the river again this year. I didn't do much on the water last year dealing with the divorce. Divorce still isn't final but I'm over it and moving on with my life. We should plan a trip to the Glenn again.
