FYI for boaters on Lake Winnebago

FYI for you and all your boating enthusiast friends. Canadian National RR is planning on replacing the bridge spanning the Fox River in Oshkosh this summer. Navigation will remain open during the project however there will be periodic interruptions during the project. The new bridge will be built to the east of the existing structure and the new bridge will be a lift bridge, not a swing bridge like the one there now.

How much more east can the south side of the bridge go?

That bridge is nothing but a pain in the ass for many boaters. I'm glad I can still squeak under when its closed
