cancel auction... cig CC i want ted was sold that week days before i flew down to see it... oh well

will relist with trailer pics after my next Florida trip in a couple weeks

Sure looks like a carburator on top of there. Were they Throttle body injected back then?

If you look close you can see the fuel rails. That boat looks like a perfect cadidate for a pair of 450 horse 383's. That will get it going.:drool5:

Or 550HP small block 454's. Or just leave it alone and enjoy the fact that it reportedly runs.

was thinking of repowering with the 357 magnum merc reman...they r 4200 each and they said they would give me 1200 per motor on trade!!

Not sure that any 1973 boat is perfect, but they ran as expected when I was on the boat last fall. The engines were not red flags.
I also have considered replacing older, but working engines. Especially when I can't find a new boat, I think about tweaking the old.

Only chatting here as the auction has been closed, and the boat can't be bought or sold before the 22nd, on account of the Bartus Marine Birthday Boozapalooza rule of 2009.

Go fly that lil ciggie. :D
