Found an interesting Logo in my Harley

Just completed a complete engine rebuild/hop up on my Bike.
I had the cases split to change the flywheel to a stroker .
Here is a pic of what I found . I'm happy and not that surprised to see the 2 companies working together . Keep on building North American jobs .

Merc's actually got a pretty sophisticated foundry. They've been known to do work for many companies with casting and forging.

What kind of inches are you going to and who's gear drive cam ? Right now I'm running an older 103 incher with 585G S&S gear drive cam setup with a 45 Mikuni and Baker DD6 transmission, I really love this particular bike for some reason( a black/silver 100th anniv bagger) so instead of trading up right now, I'm just gonna make a faster pig

I remember reading somewhere that the Merc foundry did the blocks for the ZR1's.

The motors were built at the Merc plant in Stillwater Oklahoma.

103 " . 103+ Heads, forged 10.5-1 SE pistons , S&S 585G cams , Zippers 50mm Throttlebody , Fueling billet oil pump and cam plate . Power Comander .
I have 118k on the bike now hoping to get another 100k on it .
A 6 speed will be the next upgrade . Mines an 03 too .
I'm heading down to FL. in about a week . I would like to hook up with some of you guys . Time seems to aways be a tight .

118K man I must ride to hard I got 30K out of mine before I bent the crank. Its an 03 also. I just bought a JIMS 4 5/8" stroker crank welded and balanced, next will be a set Of Axtel cylinders and Pistons 10.5;1 , stock heads ported to death and shaved , updated cam plate, and bearings, 610 lift gear drive cams , light wieght push rods and throttle body. Already have the Bassani true dual set up. Probably going to do the 6 speed and definitly changing over to a chain final drive, so I will need rims to. Looking at 135hp range or better and driveable.
