Has anyone done an Arneson drive on a 400SS ?
I looked at a Donzi 41 ZSC with Arnesons in Florida but didn't like the layout as much as the Formula .
I've wondered if the factory would do a special order .

The factory might do one.(with the current economy they would be stupid not to)

Have had a lot if interest but no one pulling the trigger. Should work fine, I don't see any reason they would not work.

Go for one with the Volvo deisels and these bad boys (DP-R's). You'll have zero drive problems, better economy and a higher cruise speed.

Sad, but true. The B3 is definitely not a great drive for anyone that wants reliability.

A 40ss is going to be a pig to get out of the water with bravo 1's i have been in a couple of 330ss with and without the 3's. The 3's equipped boat got up and going much easier.

That's what I was thinking - that bus needs the extra blade area from a set of B3's.

Obviously some prop testing would be in order and you aren't going to bolt on a set of Mirages on that boat. Personally, I can't see why a bravo 1 would be that much different if you put a 5 blade prop on the Bravo 1 as a worst case scenario.
