We have something going on up here in Scandinavia.
Skagerak Across in Norway, 140 miles opensearacing, and this year the Swedish "Getingloppet" will make a comeback in a costume.
Also some 140 miles at open sea. Will run the same day as "Roslagsloppet" and the finish will be at the same place, Öregrund, later same day.

When Ratickle said the other side of the pond I should have embraced your race as well.It`s ironic to think,since the days of when the World Championship came to Sweden nearly 50 years ago,it`s not until now proper offshore has returned.It`s even more bizarre to think the U.S. will cart their boats to Dubai for a trip round the bay,yet not consider a true race in Europe.Of course we know money rules,but you can`t help but think, if only.
