After 4 months of hard work rebuilding motor mounts carbs ignition fuel tank seats etc
It was a Beautiful day for the first day on the water for our old Autocoast Marauder.
My wife says she is so surprised and was so skeptical of my plan to restore this thing but after riding in it she has seen the light.
So next we go through outdrives, add stainless props. work more on the carbs (port engine kept quitting as we were trying to maneuver to the 10 feet of dock at Lake Merwin. I was a little skeptical of how she would run out with the twin 165 in line six mercruisers but she was really feeling her legs about 3800 rpm. Almost sounded like a real off shore boat.
We should have her ready for Tuna off the Oregon coast next year... And maybe a poker run or two.. if we can keep up with our tiny little sixes.
