Doh! Makes sense what you meant now that I read it again. :blush5: I can't remember if the new owner was installing different motors or just upping the HP on the exisitng mills...I want to say just upping the HP of what is there. I beleive BMax drives were also going to be installed. Mental or Kyle from HillTop would know for sure.

First Born is still in Kentucky waiting to be delivered out west (Havasu). Current thinking is around the March timeframe. Obviously I have hundreds of pictures of this boat!:sifone:

The first one is my favorite from the 2007 LOTO Shootout fun run.

Nothing has been decided for sure. Looking at the Whipple upgrade to 700's and BMax drives. We're trying to get it out west in time for Desert Storm. :biggrinjester:

Bmax's are a waste of time.......I know of two different owners that busted Bmax's like they were wooden toothpicks........ Boats were 38-43 ft and right in the same weight category as the F4.

Well, the new owner will have to go with something other than the XR's if he decides to go with 700HP +. Those XR's are time bombs even at 600 HP in a boat that big and heavy. The factory shucked one of the drives while doing prop testing before delivery to MP. Whether you are talking BMax, Imco, Max Machine, Teague, etc. for every story of someone having no luck with them you'll find a story of someone having great success with them.

There are plenty of guys that grenade number 6's so are they junk too???

yeah I guess with 1500 HP the #6's are not worth much either..... :sifone:

But with a 38/750's the Bmax drives last weeks and on a 43 with 650's they lasted about a month........

I would love to hear any success stories of you have any............:lurk5:

The right way to do F4-1 is NXT's just like the factory did. Don't reinvent the wheel just use what is already proven or just leave it alone.
