ESPN has single handedly ruined sports over the last 20 years. It is a disgrace that one entity has the power to do such a thing. From college sports to unbelieveably biased reporting, they have the ability to skew any type of incident in the sporting world. Its a crying shame so many people watch this network and have to listen to some of the worst reporting in the world.
I am sick of it and try not to watch it as much as possible.
There are very few worthwhile reporters on the network and most know very little about sports. Its a shame that any geek interested in sports that couldnt play turns into a reporter.
I DO enjoy programs like PTI and around the horn but the ESPN cash machine is nothing more than a money machine that would rather create drama than report actual events.
They should be MUCH more involved in kids and community rather than reporting on every whore Tiger slept with.
So many athletes and coaches do so much for the community and NEVER do you hear about it except once a year. It would be nice to hear about those folks and maybe the whole atmosphere would change about sports and what you SHOULD do for the community, not who A rod is dating or doing a ten minute interview with Ray Lewis.
There are a million examples.
It is a shame.
