Early Bravo gimbal housing help....

My Bravo was built in '87 and is one of the first offered and uses the anodic stove (square) bolts in the two lower positions.
The bolt holes in the gimbal housing are "inside" the housing O-ring seal and will leak water if the bolts aren't sealed.
It's been too long since I've done one of these and don't remember what I did the last time.
Any suggestions?

That rubber washer didn't really seal it up. It was more of a buffer in-between the anode & the bolt's flange on the outside. It would have done little if anything for the sealing of the bolt thru the transom.. ;) Sealer is a must to be safe.. :) Jamie / Lakeside
