I like to read, so thinking about an E-book. Which to buy? Kindle or Nook? Or wait a year when the prices come down and more players are in the game? Thanks

My sister swears by Kindle. I can't believe there is much difference between the makes.

As much time as I spend on a computer, the e-books just dont work for me, I guess its a tactile thing, I still like to break the spine of a paperback.

My wife has the Kindle and LOVES it. She reads a TON. The problem that she some times has is that books are not available like the newest Steven King book so she still has to buy it in book form. Most of the time they do have the books however and it does save you money on the book purchase. You have to buy/read a LOT of books to pay for the Kindle however.

I purchased a Kindle for my wife (who reads a lot) for Xmas and so far she loves it. I compared all three readers that are out there, they're all similar and I think they all share the same screen display technology.

It came down for me that the Kindle had been around the longest (and hopefully was the most refined) and my wife already had an Amazon account with which she was familiar navigating through their website.

I do books on CD. Nothing like a 20hr book to get you from point A to B:driving:

Books on tape(CD) are awesome. For adults and kids. I always took them on the many long international flights I used to do.

My kids loved Hank the Cowdog so much I can still hear them years later
