DOW Triple Bottom?

unless things have changed in the last few years, I wouldn't want any truck with Hino parts in it. We had several hino trucks at work a few years ago and they self destructed on a regular basis.

Bottom?...No way!

We'll be in the 5000's 1Q'09 after the inauguration, the big-3 fold, and the dismal, lower-than-expected consumer holiday sales figures are released.

I agree. At this point all you can do is ride it out. I wanted to retire in 3 years at 62. It looks like 67 now. Carry over health insurance costs for two have risen from 480 per month to 1400 per month over the last 3 years.

I've been forced into retirement at age 65, and now my wife is quitting her job because the company is forcing her and her fellow workers to lie about certain aspects of surgical procedures that surgeons charge for and she just can't do it any more. So now we'll have to pay for COBRA until(IF) she can find another job which won't pay nearly what's she's making now.

So the first 65 years of your life were not under your control and/or not your responsibility? Please explain who or what organization forced you into the career path you took and monitored how you managed your income.

End of the line Cat. Either you take responsibility and stop ***** ing or tell us who runs your life.

8L 260hp/500ftlbs pretty weak if you ask me. My 5.9L Cummins makes 325/610 and it's bone stock.

If I remember right, when that truck debuted they said something like 550hp/800lbs torque from that configuration.

That will be my next Tundra.:sifone:

Well, that certainly explains your penchant for hand-outs. 'Bama and Billary are going to fix everything, we'll pay for your care, don't worry.

P.S.
I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but surfing the web and spewing liberal nonsense on boat forums doesn't pay too well.

No chit. Surfing needs to pay a LOT better!!!:sifone:

Man, you guys missed out, all the Founders were chosen for the inordinate amount of time we spend on the internet. And each of us is paid a handsome sum just for being here. :26::26: < That guy's hair is actually cash :biggrinjester:

What is everyones opinion on buying gold?

It sure has been a mystery the last several months. It went up as expected with the early signs of overall weakness in the market. I can't figure why it did not continue to rise. I would have sold at $950 and waited for another buying opportunity anyway. But as others stated, it seems to have peaked. I'd stay away from it and continue to watch things develop.
