Double Vision II

I don't recall JD ever running in the either the 30 foot Shadow or the 30 foot Chris Cat Special Edition hulls. He throttled the 35 Jaguar very successfully.

The 30 foot CHris Cat had small blocks, the 30 Foot Shadow had destroked big blocks and was always badly balanced and over weight.

JD definately did run a 30, before the 35 jaguar.

I don't recall him ever being in the 30. Digger throttled for John , and before that it was Jack Ray (I think). JD ran the 21' Superboat and then the 24' Skater, both named Breakaway. He and his Dad didn't run together until the Jaguar.

Allright, then Mikey are just wrong with the numbers. I know a red 30
Chris Cat in Finland 3 man cockpit. I was willing to buy it a few years
ago but it was in very bad condition and seller asked 45000 euro.
They had changed to TRS and 454/420's.
Actually I asked "Smokeybandit" in a other thread if he know something
about that but he never respond.

Mange
Same boat.
And bet my money on that it´s the one in smokeybandits avatar.

Mikey and Mange, if you have pics of it now I would love to see them. The last time I saw the boat was in 1986. That boat holds a lot of wonderful memories for me. I was curious if anyone on here knows, when it was Double Vision was that the Fillipones?

I should have able to get current ones too.

Pete Pavkovich owned the Double Vision Chris Cat for a short time, It was painted Red . He is the one that sold it over seas. The Boat had small blocks with #3's and crash boxes when I worked on it.I think that Ron Dollar had it in Miami when Pete bought it.
