This is what we have so far from interested parties. 33 boats total

We have had a couple of phone calls from other people, who are teaming up to put a boat together and split the costs, but until they give us an OK that they are coming, they are left off the board.

As entry forms and fees are received, we will fill in the other data.... such as engine size and type of drive and whether they will need fuel or have to stop and refuel.

Remember, the earlier the entry is sent in..... the less the entry fee will be.

Serious.....If I could get you to lift off the NPBA site all the maps and fuel stop locations and add it under this thread, then everyone would know all the details.

I'm thinking it's about time a Chris Cat, one of the most dominate offshore race boats of all time, won that race......:sifone:

Do these engine rules also apply to the classes listed above, or is it hull length only? And will there be a historic class added if some older classics decide to attend?

Classes In 2011:

•Class A 42 to 50 feet 3 or more engines
•Class B 30 to 41 feet 2 engines
•Class C 25 to 33 feet Outboards and Single Inboard
•Class D 18 to 24 feet Small Boat Class
•Class H Historic Open & Production class categories

I think that's Wicked +++++!!!!!!

Every time I see that photo I try to figure out how far in the air they are. It's a 38' boat, so they are about 38' in the air at the stern?

The most important part of the photo is look closely at the vapor trails from the exhaust.......it shows clearly that when the photo was taken, the boat was already on the way down from it's peak height.

Sammy said that he has US Geodetic Survey logs from a ship out there working n the shoals when they went by. The log reads..."The wave height today at the shoals was 18 feet."
