Get off 75 at Fruitville (exit 210?), head west till you get to 41, turn right, the pits are 1/2 mile up on the left, near the 10th St boat ramp. We'll have our tent set up and the S-111 Phil's Site Prep, 30' Skater will be under it. Stop by for a cold drink!

if you get there early enough go around the backside of the auditorium... :)

if i remember right... there is also a small church lot across the street from the auditorium on the side road that leads to the Hyatt...

cool ill do that bobcat lol
im going to bring my little travel weber and a cooler and stuff so i just wanted a spot we can put a easy up and cook out and hang out and still watch you guys play

Afr you can't see the race from the dry pits. You have to drive over to the beach, they will have at on cable TV in the bar in the dry pits

i looked on the map looks like i would be able to find some where to park close to the water
i suppose anywhere on the ocean side we would be able to see you guys go by

The public parking at Lido beach is your best bet, but it's going to be packed there pretty quick come Sunday morning.

me to everything has changed so much from what it was when i was glassing / building offshore stuff for the racers

late 80,s early 90,s the cats just started showing up the first one i saw looked like someone took a formula and cut it half and made it a tunnel

we just gutted everthing out of a whatever v hull pleasure boat or changed a inboard over to outboard etc and put back as little as weight as possible some fancy paint work and then the guys threw the biggest wheels we could find with the most hp we could make
tweak it all in and go
now you got a whole industry just building strickly race hulls i have no idea what half of them are or who built them etc
loads of tunnels out there these days
