Did you guys in the Mid-West winterize properly....

we will water test next week, its going to be in the 40s

Good Luck with the testing and watch out for the ice chunks when you go out next week...I would imagine there's going to be some floating in the main channel and they can do as much damage as hitting a log and the water is pretty cold right now...

Just another tip guys...
Make sure your drives are all the way down. Water will puddle in them and freeze and crack the casing. People have a habit of leaving them tilted up so check them.

Also puts less stress on the bellows.

ya, temps get back up in the high 40s on wed, hope that sunshine will melt that ice fast, that would be my luck, only guy to damage a 6 due to hitting iceberg :driving:

Wife just returned from work related trip to Orlando. Last night was 29 outside her hotel!

Fun not winterizing this year, pulled ole 400s and sold them before first frost. new 550s sitting in shop waiting to go in boat.

But I have been winterizing my boat for 21 years. Any Orlando area boaters need a few tips:):)

Think Spring, it helps!
