Deal on 42

Yeah but WTF does this mean in the description: This late model Outerlimits is in excellent condition. She needs her engine installation completed

I think this boat, the 39 and the 51 that all have the same striped/flames/streaky silver paint were all owned by the same guy and I believe this boat originally had Sterling power. Considering that the 1075's are not installed then it would lead me to believe someone swapped the power and these 1075's are probably not turn key. I would make an offer on that boat like it had no power so when those 1075's need 100K in work then you have it factored in to the price already.

That boat originaly had 1075's in it. You have it confused with the Powerboat Magazine boat with similar paint, purple interior, and plexi glass hatches to view the Sterling 850's

Its getting harder and harder to say what a good deal is on a used Outerlimits. There are an awful lot of them being repo'ed and auctioned.

Is that the one where the boat was represented as having engines and when someone opened the hatch they were gone....then mysteriously found some engines in the shop and plopped em back in?

Old pulley design leads me to believe the instillation isn't complete because they have to take a small detour to mercury for rebuilds before the tail pipes can go on. Looks like a nice boat.
