Here's the scenerio - removed a set of gauges - sent them to Livorsi to have refinished - put them all back in. One motor doesn't respond work. We're running Smart Craft to Analog conversion boxes on both motors. (Merc Racing 525's)
Called Merc Racing who said that within the special functions of the DDT there is something call Tach Link? Turn it on and it should be fine.
Apparently my DDT has an older Smart Craft card as I can't find a "Tach Link" under any menu. Does anyone know what version is the latest?
While pulling the rest of my hair out I decided to swap input cables from box to box to make sure I didn't have a bad conversion box - as expected the gauges worked fine - so the box is good.
Then I put the cabling back where it's supposed to be - and now everything works BUT the damn tach on the good one...... geez......
Any ideas?
