John Allen Muhammad is set to go nite nite tonight...

Living in the DC Metro area; I remember fueling up at night ducking between my truck and the trash cans, pulling up to pump so I was between my truck and the store, slowing/speeding so I wouldn't be stuck at a stop light, etc.

Bye Bye, MF'er.

I just don't understand why we have to pay to house someone that is sentenced to death for so many years. Just do it.

Because one of the major considerations when this country was founded was that its better to let 50 criminals go than to imprison an innocent man.. also because there have been multiple instances of people convicted and sentenced to death that have since been cleared of any wrong doing, both before and after execution (meaning that despite the checks and balances we have still managed to imprison and execute innocent men). Why can't our legal system be like China?? Well should we fire up the lynch mobs and go on witch hunts too?? Should we imprison Jay and Cat for their subversive democrat aligned posts?? Should we place the burden of innocence on the accused instead of the burden of proof on the accuser? I mean if the police arrest you, your guilty right?
You freak out that the contry is going to become the next soviet experiment in communisim yet you want Chinese justice??

Case in point.

Nidal Hasan goes on a shooting spree at Fort Hood. But he is still presumed Innocent. Why? A phucking POS like that should never need a trial, jury or hospital care.

I just wish the brave officer that stopped his murderous rampage was able to get the kill shot he deserved. Right between the eyes.

Actually Hasan should not be involved in the traditional legal system at all. He was active duty and on base, therefore he is not subject to civilian law. However he will mor than likely be prosecuted under article 118 of the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice)

most of the people that do this do end up getting killed...this one survived.. the forensic psychological information that can be obtained from him may be able to help prevent further incidents...

I say hanging him in public would be a more effective deterent.

With respect to innocent until proven guilty...of course. But when there is proof beyond any doubt...hang 'em high, in prime time, on every major network, without any hood...so all can see his pain and suffering.

you took the words out of my mouth. i was talking yesterday if we did things like they did 200 years ago as far as crime and punishment, there would be a lot less crime. you kill someone and there is proof without a doubt, you get hung in public. You steal something you get your hands chopped off. rape someone get your.... you see where im going.
