Met Steve a few times, he brings some of his works of art to a concours show we do in Bay Harbor. There is no finer builder on the planet, the alpha Z has to be seen to truly appreciate
I dont believe so, when Steve was at our shop i think he said they lofted just the running surface in glass. From the parting line up its traditional wood boat building. At least in the case of the AplhaZ and the one above, the rest are all wood.
GR Press just showed one of their rigs that was appearing at the boat show. Article said originally built for the Owner of Four Winns. I had just drove past the place last week while in Boyne also.
They have built a couple boats for the Winn's, they also have built a couple boats for Merrilot. He built the big red house on the south arm, started Merrilot Cabnets.
