I talked with Tyler in both St Clair and Michigan City. I told him he's a bit nuts.
But, that being said, he thinks 130 is possible with that little 26. He does wear a parachute life jacket, like I have said should be mandatory for every open boat that can run over 100 in the 3/4 mile course, just in case of the unthinkable.
His bringing the boat under control the last run he made was really impressive, or really lucky. Maybe a bit of both.
I was pretty sure he was going over!
Although he was only going a piddley 113.......
