Crockett marine small block

Nicely done. And the AF ratio didn't seem insane either (no lean is mean huh! :D )

Stuff like this and Shifter's LSX power really makes you wonder how long our dinosaur BBCs are going to be around... Especially in small to mid-sized Bravo boats where the percentage weight differential is material.

Very impressive numbers.
DS, you know i love SBC's.
But the big question is, are these 35/40/45 or $50k per pc?

In the right application for sure!

I mean don't get me wrong a 700 inch 14-71 blown monster is awesome, but in a 28 foot boat with one prop and a shiftable drive? ha ha ha...

Looks like it had actual boat headers and some accesories on during the pull...

Those are the headers that will be on the engine in the boat. I try to run the complete package including fuel system that will be in the boat when I dyno.

can a Bravo type drive and accesories live at those kind of RPMs.....????

I have built some smallblocks for a race boat before that turned 7000-7200 with bravo drives and had no problem. With the RPM's up it takes a big load off the drive. Plus getting the prop speed up it seems to make the boat handle better also.
