Cost of Private Jet

So I've been on a private jet a couple times. Once down to Aruba for vacation with a friend and once to Ohio for the Arnold Classic (I'm not into body building but my friend was). How much does that kinda thing cost? I have always wondered if it is something that costs like 10k for a flight to Aruba, or is it like 50k? Anybody have any idea?

Regardless of price, that is the BEST way to fly. Nothing like being able to show up when you want and leave when you want. Just straight pimp!

Depends alot on the jet. Sort of like renting a car. You can rent a Lear (Taurus) or you can rent a Lamborghini (Citation). Even the cheap one's are expensive.

If you have to ask ??????
Me and a few buddies have charterd planes before . 1800 to 4000 an hour .
Waterloo to New York to catch dinner and a hockey game then home before sunrise . What a way to **** away money . But hey it's only money you can always make more .

Is that just flight time? What do they charge after you land, before you take off again when they are standing by?

I pay the time on the hour meter . Our trips have been short but we still tip the Pilot . The best part is how fast you land ,Customs comes up to the aircraft and within minutes you are on your way to the Limo . Not having to deal with Rag Heads asking questions is a bonus .

haha I'm only in university, just trying to imagine how much money I'm gunna have to make when I graduate! I'm actually really close to you, I'm from Toronto but I go to university of Guelph. You are definitely right though, the fact you don't have to do customs is the best part. I brought home an extendo from Ohio and we just walked off the plane with it and nobody asked anything.

I did some work for a guy who had a Citation X and a Gulfstream. High rollin' is an understatement. I'd rather drive than fly anywhere now...
