Converting a Race Boat into a pleasure Boat

The CG was fine to begin with, my concern was moving the throttleman weight from the back to the front - thats why I moved the seats a little more to center. But its the same, no as loud as I thought it would be and viability is really good, I could have made smaller windows.

This week I'll make a canopy/window canvas cover if I have time.

One thing I've noticed in every canopy boat I've been in, the windows should never be smaller. Glad you have good visibility. Gonna race it in St Clair?

I'm over outboards... f'em!!!

Next thread is me de-rigging the boat, cutting off the back hatch area and installing 2 LS engines with bravo drive. :banghead:

Cool, Rick and I ran together in Dean's Batboat when this shot was taken for Powerboat Magazine by Freezeframe. We had a blast.

Somewhere I have a shot of your new boat, before the canopy change, on edge bad enough where I was worried they were going over. I'll dig for it when I get a chance.

Have your friend start a thread on the boat for sale in the Doug Wright section. Pics and a story or two are always good.

Have you chatted with the Peters and May guys? Maybe they can swing by and grab it with the hydros on the way back now?
