Congratulations - Tim Sharkey & Sharkey Images!

Thanks Mike!

It would be nice to cross path's, but I ended up cutting off even more events on this season's schedule.

Only possible change is if I am shooting for someone. That will be the only way I can venture out a bit from far from home this year...

Yeah I understand. Traveling is super expensive these days. I travel for my job but I am pure comission. I have to cut back and have been cutting back. However at the same time I have to stay in front of my customers...it;s a double edged sword.

If you are ever in the Tampa area and ned a place to stay a few night while you are taking pics let me know.

see ya, Mike

NJPPC Winter Awards @ Trumps Marina & Casino

New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club acknowledged my achievements over the last several years with a plaque of one of my 1st incredible shots to make Powerboat Magazine Dec 2008 issue. I had always admired Tom Newby (lead photographer for Powerboat Magazine) until his untimely death during a photo shoot. I dedicate this plaque to Tom Newby for his inspiration...

You capture what boating and racing enthusiasts want to see...you snap and explore areas of a picture that no others have been able to create. Who else would focus on the stern of a boat and make it as clear and sharp as the photos above…really nice work Tim!

Here is one for you TOASTY ! :sifone:

Can you guess what this is and what it is on ? :biggrinjester:

My wife and I got the pleasure of finally meeting Tim this summer on his Michigan tour. Tim is truly a class act guy and his pictures are simply amazing. We had a great time with Tim on the Wertz Warrior's Special Olympic run and the Sunsation Rally.

Tim thank you for making the trip out to our neck of the woods. You are an asset to the industry.

We are looking forward to working with you again in the near future.

P.S. I'm working on my Christmas wish list for Bonny you should be getting an order from her :biggrinjester:

Tim, it was a great to have you run with me out to the raft off. Again the picture was awesome, I will be placing an order for the other picture very soon.

Tim your photos have always been amazing, and I really like what you put into your photos, not only do you get a good shot but you get the heart and soul of the racers as well.

Thanks Ms P.

I try to capture the "whole" event. One of the reasons for so many photos of the towns the races take place in and of course "The Awards" :sifone:
