Computer help

It takes years of knowledge, training and BS'ing to work your way up to being paid to surf the net all day..

Best leave this one to the professionals...

Yep, it's a tough job but someone has to do it

Some how it doesn't look like my gig doesn't pay as well as yours does.

Hiring? I can be your remote web surfer at a secret remote location code named "MM @ MM54"

I'll even go out in the sun every day to get burnt so I look pink!

Is there a way to block a web address so my work can not see that I am on this site??

Just this address or do you want it to be able to cover your tracks when you look for updates on freakyfarmsex.com too?? :26:

you left yourself too wide open on that one mister.......

You can try these:
anonymizer.com, GoTrusted.com, kaxy.com, proxify.us
Basically, you surf websites via the ones above. The only network trace will be of the anonymization website - not where you go from there. Naturally, 6 hours a day of anonymizer hits will get IT's attention. Of course, your company probably had them blocked, too.

If we stay on a site too long they block it so I have to come in spurts untill I get home, and we are slow right now.

could you do a remote link to your computer at home?? by remote control you would do your websurfing off the home desktop and it would send that image to your work computer?? you coould pass it off as doing work on your home pc and needing cont access to it. how much technology has changed I dont know, but I used to be able to do that in the mid/late 90's.

CigDaze beat me to nominating that for the POW.

1st nomination is from me, 2nd nomination was BBB responding to me and 3rd nomination was me again.

I'm bringing Cig boy Sam back over here- you guys need someone else to talk about!

Not sure what you do for business, but the minute you start masking your Internet communications, a good employer will start paying very close attention to what you are up to everywhere. Such are key signs of amateur corporate espionage/IP/customer/data theft.

Trust me, I work in the industry.

Yep - they will not be happy that you've installed any sort of software like that on your computer. I know there are packages out there that will monitor what you do (without you knowing and wiithout blocking the internet) just so they can see what is going on. I forget what it's called but one takes a screen shot every so many seconds. It really isn't worth trying to get around their blocking

What he said, there is no faster way to get them monitoring what you are doing then by trying to hide it.
