As I understand the history he was allowed to build 12 boats per his agreement when Aronow sold Cigarette hence the name Squadron 12.

If Don built them all couldn't the non CRT boats carry more value? Because they would be more rare. Crazier things have happened.

Maybe, but desirability isn't off-the-charts on the boats. They're not really little speedboat toys and they're not that big-water capable, like a 27 Magnum. They're a cool small-lake boat.

The CRT boats are rarer. I've only heard of a couple of them. Not that there were than many XEX one's.

Those things are like classic vettes
