checkmate logo

anybody got a close up pic of the Checkmate logo that was used in the late eighties, the one on the sides? I have a super super clean 25 Convincor in my shop for some collision repair and i would like to reproduce the original logo. Thanks all

Is it a yellow one that drilled the unlit buoy down by the I-75 grain bins last year?

If it is/isn't, that guy was lucky he drilled it above the water line at least.

yea, and its an imaculate boat to. Yep the unlit green bouy by the elevators claimed another one. That things right in the middle of the highway to, if your not familiar with the area it will jump out an git ya.

Any pics? I didn't get to see the boat, the guys at Pier 75 told me about it.

When going through there at night I either stick closer to the grain bins, or swing out enough to where I can pick that thing up in the streetlights and swing south of it. Luckily somebody warned me about it a long time ago. I wonder how long glow in the dark paint would last on it...

I use to live/dock in Rossford and yea you have to keep those unlit ones in memory. The cans up between the train bridge and 280 have claimed a few as well. I do the same thing, take a certain course and wait till they come out in the street lights in the distance. You get use to the all after a while.
