Nothing... I guess like last year in New York when John Carbonell said for all the teams to get to the event, because sponsors will be there. Danny Gadarian promised a party at the Hard Rock Casino... Then you guys show up and have a party under a tent, in the rain, at a park! That's all it takes to keep you coming back for more!
I guess having John Carbonell and Danny Gadarian, tell all of you and the whole world, via press releases and media quotes, that the SBI season will be broadcast on CBS Sports Spectacular, starting Oct 3rd, 2009! Then showing up at a drivers meeting in Clearwater and admitting they didn't get it done! That's all it takes...
They (SBI) did replace the event sponsor page info for the Clearwater race with the truth, taking down what was previously published on SBI's website.
It included Hard Rock and the Seminole Indian Tribal Council's logo's as sponsors of our race event in Clearwater!
Let's see what JC spins this time... Like a race schedule he promotes that has only a few sites that actually pay the sanctioning fee! It would be interesting to hear what he tells the race committee's that actually pay, how he justifies who he does and doesn't charge!
The racers need to end this debacle, they are the only ones that can! Stand up and do something about this guys!

Well because, Ray, as Craig said those are some pretty strong statements and as administrators of this site to which we still permit you the privilege of membership, we like to ensure the validity of such statements so that they conform to our community standards about not making sht up. Never mind the yet unanswered questions regarding your self-involvement, id est your concern in all of this. With the passing of the Clearwater race, what does any of this matter to you? Because thus far, the only thing we could come up with that you can take any credit for is a concept - a concept that's been around a lot longer than recent history.

My Clearwater Powerboat Race Concept?
Surely you came over from St Pete and witnessed my brain-child first hand...
As far as Bruce spewing and DD, acting out and making more of a fool of himself! The word and reputation precedes Scott R. I don't need to elaborate any further on that.
I have nothing begrudging Bruce but he bashes away on me! Whatever floats you boat Bruce...
Once again, the truth and the facts, mean so much more than the BS bashing on here or anywhere else. JC gave me the ax I'm grinding on... I didn't use him or anyone else, for that matter. All I continue to campaign for is a viable version of offshore powerboat racing, not the status quo or another version of the same old thing!
Bruce what is your problem dude? Go get your facts straight and get a life, other than bashing on a sincere, passionate person who willingly sacrificed as much as I have for the sport.

So far, Coach has come on here, and other race related sites, since early this year, portraying himself as the greatest thing since OREO cookies and peanut M&Ms(I love them), and yet no one really knows who this guy is. I have spoken to many people that know, or had dealings with him and they all tell me the same thing. Obviously, they all cant be conspiring against him, can they?
So Coach....why dont you introduce yourself to the people who have been active in Offshore for the past decade plus......And tell us about your accomplishments in offshore and, please list some references that have had positive dealings with you. I already know about the negatives.

Concept is such a weak and general term. Its kind of comical. You Coach had the "concept" in Clearwater. Big deal! It is nothing new and magically about your idea. Every race started with the same idea. The numerous other people that produce races are not seeking praise and acknowledgment. They don't need to. They actually are responsible for the effort and perseverance to follow through and make their races happen. There is great satisfaction in actually doing something.
You Coach one the other hand are just looking to jump on someone elses back and shine the light on your self. That type of band standing doesn't help anyone.

Coach please stop........you are really starting to offend me. Do you want to hear about willingly giving to the sport (I will not use the word sacrifice because if you do it willingly I don't consider it sacrificing).......do you want to hear about what enjoyment some of us get out of the sport because it's fun and have also had issues somewhere along the way, but GET OVER THEM AND MOVE ON. I'm not going to go into my 20 years of having fun.......but you need to stop griping about being involved with ONE race site that you were involved with and by the way, who the hell is "US".......that you want JC to turn the racing business over to?
When you travel to and work at 8, 10, or sometimes 12 races a year...like I do...come back on here and there is your VIABILITY.
And I really take offense that you think I......a fairly smart person with my own identity, would work with a person like you described John Carbonell.
If he was the crook and rat bastard that you think he is, what would that make me? He and I do NOT always agree...........and he knows it.....but it's his show.
I keep going for the people I meet and the cities I travel to and what I do for SBI is fun........................you need to find some new fun.
