cadillac boat motor

Now, about those real 500ci Caddy engines, what's the deal with those? There's a '70s 'vert for sale with a 500ci in it, and somebody else is selling a 500ci Caddy engine. What are the specs and are they worth something to somebody?

they are the best damn bar car EVER! :sifone:

and the Corvette one was made by Malibu, not Baja.

I know the one your talking about but Baja also built a corvette boat but it was a few years ago. It was basically a Bandit 223. The Malibu boat was more recent and had the dash and mirrors etc form a vette.

Hey guys as i l@@k thru my old classic Century Powerboats book i see an ad for a Century Coronado for the 60 & 61 lineup and they were offering three different sizes In the Cadillac Crusader as they were called along with other choices of that era like Interceptor and Grey Marine that did not have as much HP .

They also did a Cad 6.0 Vortec.

Either way it's going to be an orphan with challenging parts/service availability.

true and I had people ask me after I said I own a 502 a 509 and now a 572 hey are them caddie motors are noooo why cause there over 500 cu 's so who knows you might find out that the caddie :rolleyes:is a 502 merc.

I have a '76 500, still in the car where I parked it in '91, just in case I could use the damn thing in a boat...

i hope this comes out??1991 july powerboats has this boat in it and it is a baja! i look for that mag and i cant find it .but i find this
