Thanks for all the help. Should i glue it to the hull sides and underside of the deck or to some kind of backer board?

On my 32' I used the foam backed vinyl and spray contact cement directly to the hull. Just be careful and don't press to hard when you're atatching it or you will get dents and dimples. Just lightly press it down with even pressure. I did white with light gray trim.
