cabin or no cabin

Scarf joint, Smurf joint, whatever it takes.:sifone:

Buoy , you really need to quit being an IDIOT , and do you really have any idea or clue on what i was asking ..........considering i thought my question was very polite , and are you the type of person who thinks he is the sharpest tool in the shed who knows everything and anything about fiberglass repair or should i say W H A T E V E R ............Dugh .
Am I on SOS or OSO??? Bashing another member in public is not cool.

I'm sure Tim was making a joke. Kinda like "220, 221, whatever it takes". Google it if you don't know the movie.

Someone mentions a scarf joint and it all goes bad.

I don't think anyone knows what a scarf joint is. Is that like a scurf jet? Scurfer ? Banana Boat?

Man I am confused now.

Artie, do you realize how much of an idiot you just made yourself look?
I was a high-end finish carpenter for 20 yrs. Self employed and calling my price. I know what a scarf joint is, as well as a box joint, a blind dovetail, and probably 100 other joints that don't involve smoking, or huffing resin.
I'll have you know, I've been the one saving grace you've had before getting banned from this place.
I'm done.
Paul, I'm done defending this azz hat.
Drop the axe.

And yes, my reference was to the 220/221 quote that Mac mentioned.

Artie, you owe me one BIG phucking public apology. And I expect you to start a thread to say it, that way this thread can be cleaned of this garbage.

what.................. and just what are you trying to tell me because i do not understand one word of this post , and did you read my last post # 36 ? Todd , i hope is well also and how is Sheri doing ?

hi art

sheri is doing great thanks for asking.

i misunderstood what you asked. i was thinking the joint compound between the parts, not the slotted joint. will let you know what we come up with there.

SO what do you think the total weight savings will be? Sounds like the plus side of a thousand........

hey paul

i've been told by a few people that the liner weight is 1100lbs, plus the water holding tank had 20 gals in it that i never knew was in it, so there is another 160lbs. so maybe 12050lbs removed. new bulkheads and glass i think shold be right around 375 - 400lbs. so maybe 850lbs? as a guess. here is a few pic's of the progress. couple of the 1st and 2nd bulkhead tabbed in.
