Damn, that wreck is way too bad....

I don't know how many races I've watched within close proximity to an event like that. Some are boat races too....

The crowd was standing within 10 feet of the track with no guard rails separating them from the speeding vehicles.

"There were no barriers at all," Jeff Talbott, inland division chief for the California Highway Patrol, told the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

10 feet??? Are they crazy

Not me. Bummer for everyone there to be sure.

I don't go anywhere. Just work all the time... Howdy guys. Hope everyone's doing well.

Try racing in Mexico, its worse. Think I was Danny Hamel that got killed a few years ago during the 1000. He was going over 100 on a kx500 when a mexican cop decided to drive across the racecourse. Another trophy truck rolled into a crowd of people down there a few years ago too. There is just no way to close and secure hundreds of miles of desert racecourse. After watching the video, the truck was not going exceedingly fast for its capabilities. That time of day sucks though, its not dark enough for the lights to be effective but its dark enough to limit visibilty, throw in the dust.....
