Boss (marine) Audio

I dont know about their marine stuff, but their car stuff has always been pretty much bottom of the barrel.

It's for my Mini-Hawk. I like the "garage" that unit has for the iPod. Real estate is really tight on the dash of the MH, and it's exposed on the front and back. It's only $150 bucks so no great loss if it drops dead.

it's not so much the drop dead part, it's the 400% total harmonic distortion when its turned u past , say 2.......

I had a 96' nitro bass boat that a boss head unit and speakers from the factory. It had to be the worst sounding radio I have ever heard when it was brand new, and it only lasted 2 months.

Side note: No head unit has more than 14 watts of power output! They all use chip amps and that is all they can produce. This unit claims 80 watts....going down hill after a lighting strike with an 80 mph wind and 2 seconds before it blows up, is the only way it will produce 80 watts.
