Bobthebuilder's next adventure - Key West to Havana, Cuba

Did you take them? How did you go there.Great pictures maybe someday we can have the Key West to Cuba poker run.

Have a step-brother that lives there and was granted a visa by the USA gov't. Easier than I expected, and was amazed at the amount of "visitors" from the USA.

For there being an embargo....there sure was a lot of American made products i.e...peanut butter, Ford F350, Chrysler 300's..etc
All packages produced by the Cuban gov't are translated in English...go figure:ack2:

Beautiful country and people, but the government and it's politics SUCK.

Arrived in Key West at 4 PM. I noticed Spot is not always leaving a mark when I push the button. Maybe not holding it down long enough ? Anyway it was a beautiful crossing in seas less than 2 ft. Could have ran flat out if I felt the need.
Had the pleasure of once again meeting SOS Bobcat who many know is a local here. Had a great time catching up and visiting with him at the Conch Republic.
My crew has arrived and going out to meet them for a bit now. Hope they can get up in the morning as they are not as disciplined as I am. LOL

Bob good luck today, that is an awesome trip and another great stop in Predator's logbook!

Expensive Date is right that would be an awesome Poker Run, Miami to Cuba! Though I suspect the flashy boats might spur a capitalist revolution among the locals.

At least you got the low point of the trip out of the way when you met Bobcat. :sifone:

Wanted to let everyone know that Bob and crew have arrived safely in Havana, Cuba.
They are there and evidently were escorted by the Cuban Coast Guard.
All is well and they are ok....
I'm assuming it's Mojito Time!!!!!!!
