Bobthebuilder adventure series - the movie is out! LOL

A few months ago I bought a Go Pro video camera and only got around to mounting it yesterday. My friend Dan and I went out and did some filming around Marco / Naples. South of here are the 10,000 Islands and occasionally I have been known to run thru the Islands armed with an abundance of "local knowledge". At the 50 second mark I could probably touch the mangroves. LOL This can only be done at high, high tide with anything larger than a fish boat. Anyway enjoy even tho there is no music. I must figure that out.

This second video is a rear view of our leisurely cruise up the ICW between Marco and Naples.

I'm very happy with this Go Pro.

here you go Bob...

well at least here i the second one... youtube is telling me the first video is 'private'

Hmmm. Guess I messed up. I was able to go in and edit and change "private" to "sharing with the world" ! Sounds scary. Maybe someone can confirm they can now both be viewed?

Very cool Bob, looks like camera is rock steady, now we can actually see your adventures, nice music in the background and we'll get Mike Rowe to narrate them. It could be a bigger hit than Deadliest Catch :D

Great vids Bob.
Thanks for posting them up. Good quality of image.

How fast were you running in the first vid to keep the drives up out the sand?

The second vid: gotta make sure you don't lose the hat!

I also notice that your buddy decided to stand instead of sitting in the "b!tch" seat:sifone:

The safety police should be along shortly - be prepared...
egads, he took his hands off the wheel!
My goodness, he looked over his shoulder and wasn't watching the course in front of him!
He should have had a life vest on!
I didn't notice a lanyard!
Looked like a nice little cruise to me.
Keep putting up the vids - the quality is good, and I love watching it, feels like I was there.:)

Ha, that gave me a good laugh. I was running 50ish mostly but backed off some in the blind spots. My escape route was to put er in the mangroves. LOL There are a few more fun clips but may have to wait a few days. Going to be busy over the weekend then back north Monday.

looking good

Bob
I like the red shirt! At least I know your ready if I'm in need of an extra crew.
Just ordered a gopro myself after seeing the quality of Brians shots last weekend.

That's great, Bob. That just made my morning! I must say, you've got a set on ya - or you know that area REALLY well - because I'm cringing the whole time just waiting to see some mud in that propwash. I don't like getting anywhere near that close to trees in our waters.

See, at least I'm good for something.:)

Maybe the next time we're in the same place I would also be useful for ballast on the Port side - are you planning on being in Havasu in April? (Hint, Hint...)

Bouy, you will have to come this way, as I'm afraid to come to the "Zoo". LOL
Actually I just don't have the speed for there. I do better in big water. :)

That looked like Fun Bob.

Seeing as you were only running 50ish, and the water is flat, maybe I can follow ya thru there some time.

Rick

That was cool........I could see the manatees jumping out of the way in that narrow channel! :D

I suspect those arnesons can really churn up the sand bottom!

How did you mount the camera Bob, i have been looking at Go Pro and the one GLH posted and cant see any mounting instructions

Wow, very cool Bob! That 1st vid kinda looks like those jet boat runs where they run on those tight couses right next 2 grass but only on a larger scale!!!!!:cheers2:

As pointed out by Ted, you need your own reality show, Bob. I thought I had a winning name too. However, Darryl has just pointed out that some people may take "Bob the Buoy Hunter " the wrong way. Sorry Bob. I'll try to come up with something better.
