Box Anchor hands down. I keep mine in a duffel bag with a car fender pad wrapped around it. I throw the whole thing over my shoulder and schlep it up to the bow.
Come retrieval time, put the fender pad on the swim platform, and walk the line back the transom and pull the anchor straight up.
