Bilge painting

This weekend I need to get the bilge cleaned up and ready for either a brush or roller job of bilge painting, please give me an idea of some cleaning solvents and or do I need to sand or is there a product that requires little or no sanding.

I did mine last year. I cleaned mine a lot, then wiped it down with acetone just prior to painting and brushed petit bilge coat on. I was happy with the results. It took two coats to do this, and used just over a quart, I think.

Makes me want to pull some power to make things pretty!

Yup, that's what I'm doing this weekend

So, now I have a pretty bilge and engines are nice. What do I do with exhaust?

What do you mean?

(btw... it has been four years since I painted my bilge. I recently picked up another quart for touch up. All in all, it still looks ok.)

Good to know it will last the time with that product, it was not that expensive = added bonus

I am trying to fund some exhaust, and figure out what I want to do.
Choice system, or just go out the back!?!

Yeah! They ARE>especially here on the Winnebago System
Just ordered GIL muffler tips!
Never used them and I think they will help with my worries of reversion and death
Thoughts.
