I am so sorry to hear this. John and his wife Pat were so unbelievably gracious to my parents last year at the NY race. My mom spent a lot of time sitting in the tent by herself as my Dad and I went all over the pits. Pat and John kept my mom company and they both shared a lot of stories with my Dad. I am so glad I had a chance to meet him. Rest in peace big John and to Scotty, his mom and the rest of the family I am so very sorry for you loss
