The Topkicks and F650's just don't ride the same as a Freightliner Sportchassis or a conversion. The Pete and KW's are built better cab-wise. Identical underneath.
IMHO the Sportchassis is the best value of the bunch.
One other thing that the Ford and GM can't give you- 24/7 service at intervals on every major highway in the US. If you buy it with a Cat, you triple your service points.
But in the 12k to 15k range, the Ford F-550 conversions are very attractive. More other-use friendly as well.

Just a heads up, there is a company called SportTruck out west that builds a line similar to Sportchassis. Do not confuse the two the Sporttrucks are crap. We had five of them out in Havasu to tow the race boats while we were out there and every one of them had significant issues. Anything from air not working to windows stuck down, stereos not working and general fit and finish being very poor. Just an FYI, I'd hate to see someone buy one of these expecting Sportchassis quality.
The company that I promote gives a 3 year warranty on their work and also puts a rear a/c unit in as standard equiptment. sportchassis does not offer rear A/C even as an option
