Best Burnout pics.

Here I am doing a burnout inside the Waterloo Motor Inn .
Friend of mine was celebrating his 40th birthday .
Other than smoke alarms going off and a couple marble tiles that needed to be replaced it was a great party . Bob was there .

Paul :cheers2:

I was going to make a wise-a$$ed crack about Corvette owners. But I've seen way worse from the Porsche and Ferrari guys.

And, I almost did the same thing the first time I drove a 930 Turbo. I let it get some revs before I dropped the clutch. Just enough revs to get into the turbo. The clutch didn't have a prayer. Fortunately, I noticed the dramatic disparity between the comparative rightward velocities of the tach needle and the speedometer needle before things got expensive.

You shouldn't be able to roast the tires on a rear engine Porsche. They tend to just bounce and take off

You could get a pretty good burn going with a 928-S though :sifone:

Just a little one with the old road race car...

So how many of those were with line lock? :D Just put slicks on the big block car so look for some good ones come this summer!

Back then there weren't many in the country. They stopped importing them for a while. But when you did see a wrecked one, they were always crunced in the back. I had a friend that worked in a body shop that did towing. They brought one in that had spun and hit a fire hydrant. It tore the entire driveline out of it. There was nothing behind the doors or below the back window.

A couple of Velocity Performance Design bikes doing a burn out in the boat shop at the marina after the Liquid Jungle 2009. The sound was absolutely amazing!

One of the show truck burning some rubber after the show. He left a nice reminder on the pretty concrete right in front of the marina's store/office.

My former supercharged hotrodlincoln.
11.7@118mph daily driver , full weight , everything worked and looked stock.
LSC5.jpg

LSC2.jpg

followed by my 2004 GTO, basically stock with a 75shot and drag radials, 12.0@112
launch.jpg

they both had stock or stock sounding exhaust,
both cars pissed off a LOT of guys at the drags..
nothing like blowing the doors off some loud-assed racecar looking
car that can barely run 13s or sits there spinning while Im halfway down the strip..
Burnouts may look cool but when your racing if your spinning your loosing.
:)

I'm in...

The last one is my daughter at 16yrs old in the 8sec Dragster:driving:
