RedDog,
Did you ever port out of Vention in Sandusky, Oh back in the late 90's?
Jr.

No. Had a red 311 Formula (the original Red Dog) then that I trailered mostly out of the Toledo area. Took it to Sandusky and Cleveland a few times for the GLSCS races where we often ran as pace/primary rescue boat. First photos posted were from Put-In-Bay around '94.

I remember seeing your boat back then.

I remember seeing that around the islands back then!! My pops loved that beer at that time. We always thought it was cool.

I remember "put in bay" and "kelly's island" back in the 70's. I guess I'm the geezer on the board.

Wish I still had it! That boat was the cleanest 311 around, and ran like a MF after I sorted out some engine problems. Jeffery sold it without power on a like-new Eagle trailer for $15,000. I towed it all the way out to Huntington Beach, CA to trade in on the 382 so that the guy who eventually bought it could tow it all the way back to New York.
